Running crap need help
hay guys just got her its a Honda CBR 250R MC19 1989 and when i got it it was idleing at 6000rpm becoz the the choke was staying on so i put some crc down the cable witch helped and turned down the idle screw but there r a coulp of other things that i can do like the air filter could do with a new one but would like some ppl that know more than me (witch is not alot as this is my 1st bike that is running on the road and not in bits lol) to let me know wot things i can do to fix it so pleaz feel free to leve all the info u can thank you

Mate , where are you from ??
As well as lube ..EVERYTHING ...you should make sure that the throttle cables are adjusted correctly with a little slack in them to stop fast idling ...
Air filters get a bit dirty , but I doubt that it would maker your CBR idle any faster than usual ..... sounds like something is sticking ? or needs adjusting (maybe)??
I would bet on a stickie cable mate ....
BTW ...I moved your post here for others to find a bit easier ....
"sights and sounds" is not for mechanical issues ...

Yup , she ain't running real good hey !
Have you tried the all basics yet ?
Run some carby cleaner in the fuel ? ( that helps if jets are a bit dirty ) it will take an hour at least running her to let the fuel cleaner work at all ...
Check the plugs for health ? ( swap them out )
Basic check on the carbs for balance or mixture setting ? (I am not sure if your 250 has twin carbs ) ?? the color of the plugs is a good clue as to what the caby is doing ...
I deleted the other dead vid too :-)

i did all the cheecks and i though it had to b some thing sticking so i check the throttle cable and its all unwound and is only holding on with 3 bits of cable so iam gussing they r chatching and all so when the guy i got it from put the carbys on they wernt even tight at all so that could be leting in to much air so ill get a new cable 2morro hopfuly and ill get a new air filter to it should be sweet hopefuly??? but man its a bitch to get into ne thing in this bike u need to hav small hands man lol but its still fun thankz 4 the help CBRclassic

hay guys got a new problem now lol i took her 4 a ride in the week end but as it dont hav a fuel gage i 4got about how much gas i had and it run out of gas as i was going around a corner so i put it onto rev tank and she went again but it lost all power when it takes off its got nufing so bad some times (if not warmed up good ) she just dies and when she dos go u put the throttle wide open and she craws up to about 9000k then it slowly starts to pick up some speed then change up to 2nd and it dose it all again could it be some thing wrong with the fuel or is it the carbys or just all of the above??? if some one could help me with some plans to try and fix it would be grate cheers
