ok so i did the 01-03 tail conversion on my 06 f4i and i was told that to mount up the exhaust just loosen the clap slide the pipe back and i will be good well thats not the case cause it leaks hella bad so if anyone has any more ideas or knows what i did wrong that would be great

Probably need to replace an exhaust gasket. Moving the pipe may have caused it to split & fall apart.

no the gasket is fine there are slits at the end of the pipe and it leaks through there ill post pics

I used high temp (orange) RTV sealent when I installed my slip-on onto the header pipe because even though I tightened the clamp as hard as I could, it stll leaked. Rub some onto the pipe, then slip the pipe over top. It woked great for me.
