Default exhaust leak

whats up everyone, so i just put my D&D slipon on, its actually a bolt on, and i have a leak from where the headers meet the intermediate pipe and where the intermediate pipe meets the canister, both small and coming from the 1/2 inch space where the clamps dont meet i've got em as tight as i can get and dont want to tighten anymore cause i am afraid to brake the clamps or the trad off the bolts. is there anything else i can do to stop the leak or should i just let it be?

You could try some aluminum duct tape (not the stuff Bubba uses to fix his shoes) but actual tape made out of aluminum used to seal duct work. Wrap the small end of the pipe (the pipe that slides into the header) a few times and reassamble.

i would bust RTV ultra copper or RTV Black, available at your autoparts store...super duper high temp sealants.
