Electrical problems
Ok so to start of for awhile now ive been having a problem where my batterie dies if i let it sit for more than i week, and i mean completely dead. So yesterday i went to ride it and had to charge the battery, and when i got it in the bike i started, but i turned over alot. I think thats because it was cold and i didnt have the choke on, and when it started it ran kinda crappy for a few min, but i think thats cuz i flooded it tryin to get it to start.
So im riding and everything is good, i was riding for about ten or fifteen minutes when i decided to go to stop at my friends house.
The bike runs fine right up until i pull into the driveway, but it dies right as i pull in. so i think maybe i was in to high a gear and let the clutch out and it died(because ive done that a few times goin around corners) But instead the bike wont start back up. the lights come on horn works, but the starter doesnt even come on at all. There is no turning over no nothing.
So my questions are
has anyone ever had a problem like this?
Wheres is the starter on a 96 cbr 600?
and where are good places to look for voltage leaks?
Thanks for any help anyone can give!

RE: Electrical problems
Sounds like your battery has had it. but if you want to check for leakage this is the test:-
Turn the ign off and disconnect the NEG lead from the batt' terminal get a multimeter and set it to mA (milliamps) connect the negative probe to the battery, & the positive probe to the disconnected lead.. The reading should not exceed 1.2mA. If it does exceed this you have some sort of short circuit in the loom which needs investigating. and can be a real pain in the ***......
If the reading is 0.00mA your fine and nothing to worry about, but i'm sure it's the Battery
