Default 01 F4i PROBLEMS need a lil help please! *electrical*

OKay on my 01 F4i i was riding last week hit a hole pretty good.

after like 15 minutes i was about to go out agian all my gauges are dead? spedometer and my RPM gauge and only thing on my display is time...????

and my brake lights and turn singles work but when im just driving my running tail light isnt on soo im just a black blur at night for people behind me un less i brake or such?

ANYONE KNOW WHAT AND WHERE TO FIX THESE PROBLEMS

Almost sounds like you have a loose connector, which might explain the sputtering at high speeds. Check the connectors under the upper fairing (front cowl). Do you have a manual?: LINK.

actually i dont what does the connector look like? do you think that would fix the gauges as well as the sputtering or just the sputtering?

There's two black ones, and one big gray one (connectors). It might also be a fuse. The fuse box is under the rider seat. I'm just throwing suggestions out there. You want to start with easy stuff, then if you don't find something obvious, you'll have to look deeper

Definitely check all of your connections. Seems like something's loose. Check your battery too.

Definitely check the screws on the battery...had the same problem a few weeks ago been all good since!! same symptoms as well...Hope it something simple!!! good luck

as always get a socket wrench and torque the battery tight, you'd be surprised how often that's the cause of all your problems
