How do i know when it is time to grease my chain? Iv had my bike for about 4 months now so far iv gotten new tires installed... Dont know if they greased my chain, so how can i tell when its needed?

Depending on how much I ride, I do mine once or twice a month. The manual says once every 600 miles, but I would recomment once a month at least, more if it ever gets wet.

I just look at it everytime i take it out and if it looks like it is getting dry than I just spray the chain

I usually give it a coating every 350 miles. Clean it once a month with some WD40.

The owner's manual says to use 80w90 gear oil....HUH?

lol it works, but man does it throw **** around lol.

yeah i can imagine how the oil would make a mess some of the can grease stuff even makes a big mess and that stuff sticks to everything.

I do it after the 3rd gas fill up usually

Using Maxima Chain Wax
it only takes a few minutes when you have a stand
