I use one of these on a daily basis. (Just a Motorola H550) I answer many phone calls throughout the workday. My question would be.....if you need to answer a phone call, how woould you hit the little button on the earpiece?
I thought about wearing it under my helmet many times. It fits under there, but I can't reach the buttons.

I was also thinking of something like this just the other day. I wonder if the microphone would be able to pick up your voice if it is surrounded by the foam part of the liner that surrounds your earin your helmet. I've never owned a Bluetooth system or had any experience with them, butif anyone knows a good Bluetooth system that would work please let us know!
For 50 bucks (On sale) regularly 70, you can go to Radio Shack and pick up a Motorola H550.
Good unit for the cost.
Mine fits with some doctoring under my helmet, but like I said before, I can't touch any buttons.

Ijust got a Scalarider which is a bluetooth headset specially for helmets. I'll test it out tonight, but the plan is that it will interface with my phone (an old nokia), and my new GPS (Garmin Zumo).
The scalarider and the HS830 both have noise reduction and automatically adjusts volume to suit external nosie.
The Zumo can control all the functions on my phone so I'll never need to touch the headset once it's set up.
I'll post again with the results tomorrow.
