Default Brake pulsing??

Anyone ever experience brake pulsing? Heres what happens....I'll be comming to a stop, and if I brake kinda hard, not hard, but not a roll-up easy-brake either, at about 8-5 mph right before the bike stops I feel this pulsing from the front rotors/brakes. It only does it at these low speeds/stops. I had no clue what it was, but reading through an issue of sport-rider, was browsing an ad for gaffer brake parts, and they advertised a flat-ground rotor with no brake pulsing...not gonna run out and buy new rotors or anything, but it's the first I've seen that kinda pointed to what I am experiening. The front brakes make a little contact noise, some is expected being as that your right on top of them, but sometimes I'll hear this rubbing, kinda off-balance, like a shh, shh, shh, contact as the rotor turns, again, all at low speed???? Ideas?

Oh, thats just the anti-lock brakes.

In reality I'm not sure. I would just inspect the hell out of em, take em apart, clean, inspect and refill them, then reassemble. Do you wheely? Something just sounds bent to me. If you have a front stand you can spin your wheel and check clearancesand trueness........hopefully someone else has better help.

No stuntin at all. I've had it to the shop a time or two getting some goodies and all, and they never said anything, I immagine they would, it's a very reputable speed shop big into bikes, I figure they'd catch it if it was something.

Did I get a one in a million that got put together incorrectly??? I've never adjusted the suspension or anything. I mean, it's not hugely noticable or anything, but just enough so often that I notice from time to time.

you may also have bubbles in your lines...i think you should bring it back to them under warranty and let them figure it out.

I'd say warped or loose rotors as well. If your under warranty I wouldn't even worry, take it in.

My 2 cents (since I retired that's all that its worth) But in may be worth while checking your pad sliders, the pads move on these things & if not nice & smooth, can cause the pads to bind slightly, causing the "pulse". they can be removed without having to touch the pads, just remove the plugs, and then remove them with an Allen (hex) key.
You can polish up using car polish , or if bad, 1200 Wet & Dry. It may be a new bike to you, but if its been sitting for a while. or if you have ridden in the wet a bit you can get a bit of corrosion happening With all the developement at Honda, you would think that they would have come up with a better system by now.
