Interesting. Been using a set of Midland BT2's, for the wifey-poo and me. Wonder if that would work for a guest slip-in for a rider buddy or the odd 2-up with a strange helmet. Is that an over-the-ear setup, as opposed to built-in?

Not sure what you mean by "over the ear"... It has two speakers that run into the ear pockets in your padding and then are secured by velcro.

 

How does the boom mike work on a full face helmet? I almost picked one up on ebay, but wasn't sure how it was going to work out.

 

Ahhh! The link you have to them makes them appear to be a single sided, all-in-one. I was thinking, it was something you put on before you put on your helmet. Hence, easily transferable. I'm looking for a solution to go with the occasional pick-up rider, to complement my set-up for my wife and me.

Boom mic works fine in my full face AC12 Carbon... Just runs right up to behind the chin bar.
