If you're not in the market for a new helmet as well, you might consider one of the blue-tooth intercom systems from Scalia, Midland, etc.

I've picked up a set for $125 by shopping e-bay. Driver/passenger both.
Come with the headphones and 2 mics, a button and a boom for 1/2 helmets.
Took about 30 mins. to install in both helmets.

It does cell-phone, intercom and an analog stereo input. I have a Samsung Rugby, I just use it's media player to pipe in with. The reciever on the helmet controls forward/back, pause/play and volume. So you never have to mess with your phone, just leave it in a pocket. It prioritizes the source by cell>inter-com>analog stereo.

Here's a few links to familiarize yerself with the various systems available.

Hey:

Sprock, I have a riding bud that has a Blk Bell Rally Revolver, with the Blinc M2 that he uses with a Iphone and loves it. They seem to have the features down, he used to complain about rear port ear noise but since adding a speaker setup, he no longer does. Hope this helps at least a little.

How about one of these: http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/b...-hi-viz-helmet
and this:http://torchelmets.com/blinc/blinc-m2

That also takes care of your Hi Viz too.

Yeah well I called them and they are all out of the "fatheaded" melon edition lol ....so we'll
have to wait and see ..... I may go for a Suomy instead (some awesome deals out there
atm) and addon the Blinc after since most lids now are easy to fit comms gear into
even my Icon Airframe has speaker recesses in it

What did you end up getting? I'm thinking about getting Sena but wondering if it will fit onto Suomy

Hey there Yum , well I went with a Scorpion EXO 500 "oil" design Red / White / Black
and for Bluetooth I went with a Parrot sk4000 ($39) on Ebay

I have a Parrot MKi9200 in my car and it works superbly with my iphone so I figured it
would do same with the SK4000 on my new Lid ....... I was not wrong .... both devices
use same menu system and logic ----- positioning of the speakers inside the
helmet compartments takes a little tweaking to get just right for the right volume
level etc. etc.

BTW

That was an incredibly great tribute you Guys did for your friend Natasha .....really !

I fitted my parrot in my EXO-500 this weekend and it worked great. Speaker placement is better than on my old Gmax helmet.

Yeah mine went in today built out the recesses with two squares of double backed 3M
foam tabs before laying down the round felcro receiver patch for the micro speakers
to attach to - they line up bang smack center of my ears and sound spot on perfect,
had to do same same for clamp on inside of helmet outer shell & moved
the unit forward enough so the mic is tucked in on and around the left front side cheek
pad in an upright out of the way manner

No impedance to the internal inflating "AirFit" system either.

I'm going to put wire lanyard between the control unit and the receiver boom clip as
I have seen reports of the unit separating & sometimes and getting run over or
trashed when it hits the road mostly due to owner error tho' as the unit mount wears
a bit from being repeatedly separated from the boom when it requires periodic charging.

I got Sena SMH-10. The stereo sound on this thing is amazing. I haven't paired with my friend yet. I will report back on the intercom part of it later.
