Default BT headset's

personally i hate them for bike to bike, and bike to pillion,
having your mate prank you coming to a corner and shouting in your ear, or the wife back seat driving.

but (as I'm a low phone user) i would use one for phone contact only, for circumstances at home and be able to be contacted quickly. at the moment, i just check the phone in the top box when i'm stopped every now and again.

found this,,, not bad for the money.

I'm with you Ken.

Can't stand distractions while I ride. No BT, no ear buds with music. Just motorcycle and wind sounds.

I ride to get away from all the modern technologies!

I do keep a phone in my jacket, but that only gets looked at when I stop.

Cheers, SB

I've never had one and I'm with the 'I ride to escape' side on this one.

I started off thinking they were a good idea, and for someone that rides for a living, or commutes, I still think they probably are.

But I only ride for pleasure and selfishly or not, I like being out of touch while I'm riding.

Engine and wind noise for me too.

lol, i'v no recovery cover, so a 100mile from home and get a puncture, i'v to call the wife.
i normally wouldn't use a BT but i'v a lad who took a siezure a few weeks back that scared the chit out of me, and told to expect more,, that i feel i should "teckie up" or on the other hand, hope it can be dealt with without me, as i could panic and become a bigger loony to get home, and end up in an accident.
catch 22.

Motorcycle Helmets Getting First Head-Up Display

Cheers, SB

PS: I'd rather see it in the Predator style helmet But that unfortunately did not get good reviews.

I think the GPS function would be a great thing to have in a visor HUD

I heard those Predator Helmets are basically trash and offer zero protection
and look goofy to me anyway.
