just bought a 1000f a few hours ago and need a bit of info about the headrace bearings. Or a link to an online service manual. Thanks in advance

What do you need to know? Also, do a search on 1000f service manual.

Basically I need to know if I need to buy a complete headrace or are they just ball bearings. Haven't had it apart yet to look. Tried to search for a manual but being a cheapskate I was looking fo r a free one, looks like i'll have to cough up for one. Thanks for the quick reply.

I meant, do a search on this board (see top of this page). A link to the manual is listed here. Give me a few minutes and I'll psot a pic of the bearings that came off of my bike.

They are the OEM ones which are ****. There are plent of people who make tapered roller bearing for the CBR. Should be about $40. Seen plenty on Ebay etc.

You get 2 x Seals, 2 x Races & 2 Roller Bearings.
