Anyone with input
I cant imagine the gauge cluster is the same. I cant believe it even plugged in.Also, the bank angle sensor may be different, but it may be the same. My other concern is I dont think the 600RR headlight will work on the 1000RR. I know at the very least the mounting tabs are different along with the center lights shape is different. They look similar, but they are different.
Are youusing the wire harness for the 600rr headlight? even though it plugs into the 1000rr wire loom, Im sure the the arrangement of the leads are different.
I really dont think you can use the gauge or the headlight from a 600RR. that is more than likely where the problem lies.
Although, I doubt it is your bank angle sensor. when that is shut down, it disables the fuel pump. But, since you hear the fuel pump engage, that cant be it.
If you have fuel and spark, then all of your sensors are working properly, ie. not faulty switches in the kickstand or anything. If they were, you wouldnt be getting any spark.
My next step would be to see that fuel is making through the injectors. You may have a faulty fuel pressure regulator or just not enough pressure. The injectors require a good amount of pressure to operate. I would pull off the top of your air box, shoot some starting fluid down into the throttle bodies and crank it over. If it fires, you have a fuel delivery problem.

I have done some more research and question asking to dealers, the gauge cluster from the 600rr does plug right in but that is what I keep getting told probly wont work but no one knows for sure, I have the new one on order and will let you know if it changes with the new gauge. I am not sure how but the 600rr headlights mounted not perfectly but well enough to be help perfectly in place but due the to smaller light under the windshield I have ordered the 1000rr headlights for it.
Just so everyone is aware, the cbr 600rr and 1000rr have different front wheels, well the wheel is the same font axle and holes in at the bottom of the front forks are different sizes so if you are in need of a front wheel make sure it is set up properly for the model of bike you have so you dont do the same thing I did, If anyone would like to buy headlights, font wheel with rotors, or gauge cluster for a 2005 CBR600rr please let me know.

the good ol' ether method. If you are getting spark then that should do it. Just make sure after you spray to stand back or place a rag over the barrels before ingnition. I would also check idle adjustment and petcock. (thnx squid)
Price for the headlight is $125 and then I can ship it but if shipping charges are a lot then I might ask for a bit more, If interested you can always email me aj_jensen73@Hotmail.com
