Default need some input

my brother is trying to sell a ring and the email sounds a little off to me need some input

Thanks for the urgent and swift reply to my email ..l am still interested in purchasing the item from you and i would like to proceed with payment cause i am buying this item to present my Cousin as a gift for the wedding coming soon,l am not currently at home for now travel for business trip,so i wouldnt be able to pay via cash or cashier check so My form of payment would be via(AlertPay) or PAYPAL to facilitate the transaction, please proceed and log to Alertpay at (www.alertpay.com) or www.paypal.com and read how Alertpay or Paypal work. Its safer and secured way of paying. To proceed with the payment, you will probably need to setup with AlertPay or Paypal as member. So, after you signup with AlertPay or Paypal ,for the payment to commence all i need is your Full Name and Your Email address which you used to register with alertpay to order for your payment with AlertPay or Paypal .Once the payment been approved, you will receive a confirmation notice via your email from AlertPay or Paypal for you to be sure that i have paid for the item,The item will be ship Via Express Mail Service(EMS) of USPS and also i will add extra $100 will to your asking price to cover the shipping and insurance cost.
Please proceed to delete the postage from craigslist web.And email me the information to send your money.

I look forward to read your response.
ThanksSamuel

English is really bad there. But it is odd for someone to want to scam you through paypal.

Id scan the email for a trojan virus or something. Could be your computer has been compramised, and they want you to make an account so they can get your credit card or something.

those links that the "buyer" provided might be fake pages so if you already had a log in they would steal your information and if you set on eup they would jack the info then. dont do it. any email that tell you to log in always do it yourself never do it from the link provided

yeh, plus it was WAY to F-ing wordy, real people are lazy and short,

such as

email #1 - "I want your ring"

email #2 "OK, is pay-pal alright?"

no one sits there and types their whole freaking story out and a tutorial on what pay pal is and how to use it.

its a scam some how, not sure how, but its a scam.
