So i need some input i been looking at a 99 900RRShe has 85xx miles pretty clean some damage here and there exhaust is scuffed Dropped her on gravel at slow speeds hit the shifter and went over to the other side most of the damage was fixed but small chips on plastic runs and drives good chain is a little lose nothing major tires will need to be changed end of this season for sure. He is asking 4250 is this a good price? Got the money already just need so input from some vets. There is also a nice size dent in the tank on edge of bra can't see in pics he purchused it with it hard to explaine no scrach or chipping so looks kinda like the bike was made like that if it makes sense.

 

id say try and talk him down a lil bit . 4250 seems kinda high for the damage. i mean i got mine in great shape, 20k miles, all stock for $3,000.

 

i tried i got him down to 4000he states that his buddy parents were going to buy it from him for 4500 in a couple of months when thier son got back but he needs money now yea i forgot to mention its bone stock nothing has been changed. I can always count on havoc for input i love you man.[sm=Awwww.gif]

So your is a 96 with 15k mine is 99 with 85xx that damage on the 99 is not all that bad. Same price so how is the 96 better other then the mods. So you really think the 96 is better?

How do you know the fireblade was relisted i don't see that anywhere yea i was looking at the one before then he said it was sold.

 

ok look @ the muffler it is dented, so how hard did it really fall to hit the exhaust where it did. also where exactly is the damage on the tank ? how bad is it , because it wasnt shown in the pixs. the miles sound really nice and the 99 has the updated headlight which i really like . im not saying that the "96" is any better but the bike itself seems to be in better shape. and if your going to pay the same price do you really want a bike that has any damage at all ?

 

and if your looking at the CL page you see the guys ad for the red one listed on the 21st and it has the word *sold* in the heading. then on the 23rd you se ethe same ad but without the word sold. because there are 2 different titles for teh same ad that means its a new posting . buyer probably flaked or somethng so he had to repost it and didnt realize his previous ad is still up

 

No i see what you were talking about on the 96. In the left pic right on the edge of the bra you can not notice it unless you looking at it in person. The exhaust is not dented its rashed from just sliding it going to get changed out either way so that does not bother me at all. I not sticking up for the bike it just i want one and tomorrow seems like a good day to buy one and like you see there really nothing good around the area i search up to 500 miles and nothing.
