I always find adding a couple stickers to the bike helps with the performance.

Default RE: 91 CBR 600 F2 Power?

i have a 92 600 F2 and im 6 foot on a good day and 225 pounds on a bad day. i could throw myself off the back of my bike if i wanted to.
John's steps to humiliation and pain.
1. start bike
2. sit on bike
3. engage gear and ride off
4. bring revs to 7 thousand
5. hold revs at 7 thousand
6. whisper a quick good by to my clean unmangled 14 year old plastics
7. yank throttle to wide open
8. hold on till view of road becomes view of sky becomes view of the guy riding behind me... who for some reason is now upside down...?
9. realize i have flipped my bike and let go of handlebars.
10. pick myself up and walk to what is left of my bike.

that was just for laughs but really a lack of power could be from the carbs and that slip on pipe. I am pretty confident that my 92 makes the full 100 hp that honda bragged about back in the day. but that is because due to other problems my carbs have been professionaly rebuilt twice and matched to my Yoshimura exhaust.
if you have a little more cash in you pocket go to the honda shop and have clean and sync your carbs. ask the mechanic to ride your bike and feel for any power drops and then ask if they could be fixed with a jet kit.
also if you really wanted to know how much power your bike makes and what the power curve looks like most Harley-Davidson dealerships have a dynometer. the one i live near only charges $30 to dyno a bike. i plan on getting my honda dynoed soon just for the fun of it.
and keep in mind wheelies are an aquired skill take your time with them.
