Default 600 F3 Suddenly completely dead!

The bike has been running pretty well for its age and has never shown signs of electrical issues until today.
I turned the key, all the appropriate lights and headlight turned on but when I hit the ignition the bike died completely.
I checked all the fuses as well as the main fuse (and replaced them for good measure) but I still don't get any signs of life. Nada. Zilch. Zip.
I also tried to jump it but I still didn't even get lights when I turned the key. I checked the rectifier but all the connections look good and the battery leads are also connected well.
Any ideas where I should look? Thanks!

Reads like your ignition isn’t operational. Try playing with the key whilst it’s in the “on” position to see if you get any lights up. You might have to bridge the ignition circuit to prove this.

I tried playing with the keys and turning them around but to no avail. Guess I'll try bridging the ignition circuit tomorrow. What is the best way to go about doing that? Should I bridge the switch or what do you reccomend. I'll keep you posted, thanks for your help.

Check your kickstand switch. Also insure the bike is in neutral.

Check the actual voltage at the battery before looking any further.
