no power/ electrical
My bike is a 92f2. I rode for 30 min then parked. Went back 15 min later and tried to start it and poof. It cranked over then made a chatter like a loose battery cable, lights flashed. After that everything died. No lights, horn, nothing. When you turn the key on nothing happens. I thought it was a loose cable, so I got it all apart and battery was tight. Battery has 13v. I disconected the battery. With the key off I tested across the pos and neg cable. Got nothing. Turned the key on and got cont. I tested w/ fuses in and out. Nothing changed. What could it be? Thanks

RE: no power/ electrical
I don't have my CBR yet, so I don't know exactlyhow the wiring is, but this sounds kindafamiliar.
Before you had this problem did theheadlamp usually work without the key in ignition, or doesit normally onlyoperate when you turn it to ON?
Though my headlamps still worked because they were on an entirelydifferent circut, aproblem I oncehadwith my old jeep was thatone of the main wires leading into the ONposition of the ignition key switch hadcome loose at the switch, cutting power to all other accessoriesanddisabling the ignition relay. So in the case of your motorcycle,if they're all on the same circut, ie: yourlamps and accessoriesfunction only in ON, it could be a similar problem. You mightcheck the wiring and the harness leading into the ON position of the ignition switch for a loose or disconnected wire.If your wiring is similar,it may be why you still have positive ground at ON,though nothing happens.
Might be worth having a look.
