HELP..losing electrical power
Hey if anyone could help me out, i've re-wired the bike thinking it was a loose ground since it happened the first time, just the other day after about 45 mins of riding mantaining a speed of 140km/h the bike remained running, but didnt not have enough power to rev beyond 3000rpms. once i turned the bike of it had no power at all, put a new battery in and it worked no problem. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

RE: HELP..losing electrical power
check the stator.. might not be connected if your loosing voltage. If the bike stays on then i don't think it has something to do with the battery tho. The fuel line and stuff is mechanical.. like the throttle.
I don't understand because if you were going 140km/h and the bike was only revin at 3k... you would have some major major engine breaking that would slow you down alot. was the clutch in??

RE: HELP..losing electrical power
sorry i wasnt clear in my post, the bike was running perfectly fine, i was riding it hard on the highway it suddenly started loosing power, once i pulled over the bike was still running but anytime i rev'd the engine past 3000 it was begin to stall, once turned the bike off and tried turning it back there was no power at all, the next after towing home i dropped a new battery in it and everything was working, i'm curious as to what it could be the battery that was in it was also brand new.
