Default 1994 Cbr1000F What does it take to make sure she lasts forever...

It’s Winter time so wrenching on mine! Finally made it to winter break so for starters I’m diving into fixing my plastic speedo nut and cluster gauge lights. While the plastics are off I’m going to vinyl wrap the fairings cause I want to keep the original paint. Anything you guys suggest that I attend to? Seeing that she has hit the 40,000 mark, I have had her 2 seasons already and want her to last forever. I’m pretty mechanically inclines and have the manuals but I just want some insight on what others have learned through the years of experience.

Saw my rrs pass 50k this year. I’ve had her 20 years and she still purrs.
Serviced what needed servicing, didn’t try to fix anything that wasn’t broken ( good rule lol).
Good regular deep cleans let me keep a good eye on everything and just rode it.
Like you, winter means spanner’s out for all fluids to be changed with a now obligatory all round caliper clean session. Historically for me, I’ve had issues with mine and learned I’d rather do them over the winter than a rush job in the middle of summer. Carbs whipped of for a quick sparkle as well. I’ve owned her long enough to understand her weakness.
That’s been my way of keeping her rolling and I know she’ll start perfectly even though it’s been months since she was last fired up.
