well iv got two problem that im tryin to trouble shoot and wanted some input, first i was wondering if anyone has had any problems with thier spedo on a 2001 cbr 600 f4i, when i first get on my bike ill have a digital speed after about 3 mins of riding my spedo reads zero then the F1 like will come on and sometime if i turn the bike off and on again at a intersection ill get my speed back and sometimes i wont, im not sure if its worth rippin apart the trani to replace the sensor or if its a wiring issue second i got on my bike today after being gone from in for a month, 1st 2nd and 3rd under about 4500 rpms feels like its jumpy, it kinda sputters as i try to hold a steady speed, im thinkin it my injectors or plugs both of which i need to change soon(probably within the next week) but just wanted to some insite to know exactly what the problem is, any help on either would be greatly appreciated thanks

 

It does sound like a sensor problem. That accounts for the loss of reading, the error light, and the bad fuel mixture. When the bike experiences a problem with its sensory sytems in the fuel injection it goes into a "limp home" mode. This is where the bike cannot provide an accurate fuel map, so it just sort of "guesses".

 

so to fix my whole problem i should probably give it to a shop to let them repaire it.... or is it not that much of a bitch where i can probably do it myslef
