tire question

Default tire question

im looking at buying a michelin pilot power rear tire and i wanted to know what the difference is between the 180/55zr17 and the 180/55zr17e? there is about a 40 buck difference

best i can tell the "e" is a specific OEM replacement version for a honda 599

Is there a difference in the tire or the way it fits on the tire? I looked on Michelin website and it dosnt show the E size on there

the tires are the same size, but to be honest i don't really know what the difference is. but the regular pp is what everybody runs anyway and i really doubt the "e" version is different in any way or better than the regular version.

curley444 is right, the "E" is the OEM version. Any slight differences aren't worth $40 IMHO.

Did you find a bangin deal?

www.motorcycle-superstore.com will have specials on them every now and then for about $99 or less w/free shipping. Thats usually when i grab an extra rear.

yea i was looking on there yesterday and i found the standed one for 115
