Default tinting plastic

so....I got pissed an my stock turn signals and ordered some clear alternatives short stalks from bikebandit.......well.....i dont like the clear part, because it doesnt match my blacked out windscreen. I found this transparent black window tinting / hobby paint. Has anyone ever used this or anything similar to tint plastics??? Ill post pics of how mine goes and teh finished products.

is it VHT Nightshade? If so it works awesome and has been used for tinting head/tail lights and stuff on cars alot, you can also do it on chrome badges to smoke them out. I love the stuff

if you're talking about the testors stuff, i have that and it may work well, i dunno...i tried using it for a rather unorthodox application, i tried to smoke out my rear brake reservoir....needless to say...didn't work well.....the stuff does not work well on things that have a lot of crevices and or edges...but for a good flat surface, i am sure it would work good....

from what i have read...you typically have to apply, light sand, apply, light sand, and possibly finally clear to make it look REALLY good...(too much work for me...lol)...post pics, i would be interested to see how it worked for you...

I used tint from a hobby store for my windscreen and it turned out great. It was in a little spray can for rc cars. It took like 12 coats to get the tint that I wanted but I think it turned out great.

If it is just for the tiny lenses of your turns why not just by some of that tinting 'sticker' stuff and save a lot of hastle and time?
