Snatchy Throttle
#11
It does work good all through the rev range, its just that pick up after coming right off the gas for a corner and then slowly coming back on it. The on off jerky-ness I get can be a bit scary...

Yes, I have always done that on slow corners on any bike I have ever owned. The problem comes when coming back on the gas with this bike. Its not smooth at all, It lurches you forward a lot quicker then you want it to which is quite scary around town on slow busy roads.

I recently bought a 2006 CBR600 F4i and I also feel like the throttle is too abrupt both when rolling on and off (but especially off). It makes city riding very jerky and unnecessarily unpleasant. Any follow up to this thread? What did you do to resolve this issue, jak1? I've previously owned a 94 CBR900RR and currently have a 2000 VFR800 and neither had snatchy throttles like this bike.
Thanks!
Thanks!

OK problem all but solved. Was the chain, had 2 really tight spots on it. New chain and much better, but has not got rid of the problem completely. I still think a PC is the way to go.
Used drive a Yam 660xt and the engine was awful at low revs, jerky as hell. A PC sorted it right out. Its a well known problem with them...
