salvaged titles dont mean alot to me, mine is a "rebuilt" title, and man it looks just as good and runs just as good as all of my friends bike's, mine was laid over in a driveway and "totaled" it.

 

I bought an 04 cbr 600 f4i from Ohio and the title was salvage and it was black listed. Meaning that the insurance company paid the bike off like yours and wrote on the title "FOR DESTRUCTION" i had to work something out with the company i bought it from cause they promised that all i have to do is get an inspection and everything would be cool... little did i know was that "FOR DESTRUCTION" meant that in order for you to every have it street legal you need to overhaul something big, be it from fork and triple, swingarm, engine, trany, etc. I faught it for a month and they finally got me the paperwork saying that the from was swapped and i ended up using a dremel to etch in the new vin that the DMV gave me after the first inspection that passed. all in all 5 inspections later (3 failed and the last two passed) and 2 tickets (speeding and making loud noises!!!!) i got a sweet as bike and its only getting sweeter! pics will be up after Indiana winter stops!
