What do you all think of salvaged auction bikes? Anyone have luck buying bikes like this? I came across the following site and am intersted:

If it sounds too good to be true, 99 times out of 100, it is.

 

Here what it is...the site is basically taking pics and info from the Copart Auto Auction Site. So yes,,,its real and you can really bid on it, but you are probably better off going direct to the Copart site yourself and/or calling them. Whoever this bike auction deal site is will basically buy it for you and tack on some additional charges. I do the same thing in the Atlanta area, but I do not use a website. You get what you pay for...this stuff is all a risk and most if these bikes spend a lot of time outside in the rain etc....BUT you can get some stuff for cheap (relatively speaking).

 

so is the site not worth subscribing to?Wanted to know so I could buy something to fix up to ride.

 

where is co part located I have two insurance yards here?

 

I am not sure exactly where they are located, but around here (Atlanta) we have about six or seven of these lots here....
