Default Replacing stator

I replaced a stator a few years back on my old SRAD (Oh how I miss you my dear.) I don't remember the specifics of doing it. I'd rather not drain the oil. Can I lean my bike over a bit and not have to drain the oil?

Yea, you can. Not all of the oil will drain out by removing that cover, so you could also just add what amount is needed.

For my peace of mind, I'd just go ahead and change the oil after I was done replacing the stator, but your way will work.
