my friend dropped my bike today and rashed the left stator cover. he offered to buy a new one, but just wondering if i could do the swap myself. it seems extrememly simple but i dont want to get screwed.

Super simple. One of the easiest things to do.

Default 2009 honda cbr 1000rr stator cover

I change the orig with a cnc machined one that has the cbr logo on it. When i turn the bike on it makes a rubbin noise, but when the bike is leveled the noise is gone. Any thoughts are welcome my fellow honda riders....

Umm, pull the cover back off and see if it's rubbing?
