Stator cover

I'm having an issue getting my stator cover back on . It goes on fine but when the magnets catch it twists the slightest bit and the holes don't line up. What am I doing wrong?

Get 3 longer bolts(the longer the better) that thread in to the case. Feed them through the holes and screw them in a few turns. Then slide the cover in place and put the real bolts in.
