Long story short, I stuck some crap in the rear compartment and now I can't get it open. Anyone have any tricks to get the rear seat off? Maybe some pics of the latch itself, or any other information that could help?

Looks like with any luck, I may be able to get a coat hanger and pull the release cable on the right or maybe use a long screwdriver to push in the latch...

Anyone else dealt with a similar issue and tried the same?

Those pictures helped and I got the seat open. Had to get the tool bag out of the way (which required a little non-essential plastic cutting) but I was then able to pull some stuff out and pop the latch with a screwdriver.
