rain today= MOD TIME!!!
Installed Vortex frame sliders I used the laser pen level method......measured 3 times....drilled once perfect fit I used a 2 inch bit and they came out great. There is a equall amount of clearance around the puck. The other little mod I did was cut 5 inches of that MUD flap off I installed a license plate bracket with 6 led lights and it does the trick. It is extremely cool looking a great addition IMO. I was looking at getting a fender eliminator, but for the $$ I rather save and get an undertail someday. Next on my list is a damper Olihns or Hyper pro.....has anyone had any experiences with these? good bad? cost wise the hyper is alot cheaper so was wondering why? anyway stopped raining so im outa here....

Could you please explain in a bit more detail on how to go about doing this rear fender cut mod? Interested...
Thanks,

sure thing I had purchased the lighted license plate bracket online once I had the item I removed all my stock mudflap license plate bracket and light assembly. I cut the wires to the stock tag light about 2 inches from the end in case I needed to reinstall someday on something else. The new bracket somes with enough wire if you had a swingarm mounted plate the wires would reach. I then held the plate up as high as possible on the mud flap and marked a line....leveled the line to the ends. On the sides of the stock mud flap are those bolt on round reflectors I used there holes as guidlines to customize a circular shape and cut even more off.I used the bottom of a wood putty can to and some cardboard to make a stencil for the rounded portion(anything handy will work) Then it off to the dremmel. take your time and it will come out just the way you want. I used a cut off wheel to scribe the lines then a sander and finally hit it with the torch to melt in the whiskers(really works good) it doesnt take much I think a lighter might work. It really looks clean. The wires are all inside my trunk space (spliced and heat shrinked) I could have relocated the seat lock and gone up another 1 3/4 inches but this is fine for now and it really makes a big difference with the led's on the back at night it highlights my tire in a cool soft glow.

you can also cut a little higher and drill a hole in the plate. then you'll have a james bond entrance to your trunk. and your tail light can double as your license plate light too
