Default Weekend of rain = spanner time!

Hi Guys, I snapped a pic of my bike after a weekend of rain allowed me some time to work on it (if it was sunny I would have just ridden...) I swapped out the radiator as mine had sprung a few leaks, And flushed the system as well. Gave her some new handgrips, bodgied up the throttle tube and twisted the clip-ons around a bit to change the riding position.

I also added the MX style front fender and some red LED strips on the back to make me a little more visible at night (something I didn't think about with my black on black on black colour theme...) The forward driving lights got some better bulbs and I started a HID conversion on the main light.

No more overheating and the grips and new clip-on position make the whole thing feel a little different. The fender seems to amplify the road noise a bit so I will have to add some dampening there and it needs a spar to stiffen the front lip up a bit. I won;t go into too much detail about that here as I don't think it's a mod that will be taken up by many in this forum :P

Anyway the only real point of this post is the pic cause I know how much you guys like your visual stimulants! I have to commit soon to taking an angle grinder to the rear end, and I need to give it some colour, thin red racing stripes or something. Anyway, enjoy!

Tim.

Thumbs up

Niiice job Tim. Looks the part from the from and the ole CBR gone naked doesn't look too shabby. Yep have to agree with your comment about the back end. It's needs to lose some weight, nice bod, but it's got a fat R'se lol. Once done it will look awesome.

Keep us in the loop Tim, it's a cool bike in the making. Cheers

Front looks wicked ! ...so the rear when you get to it should be interesting if the
front is anything to go by
