Hi Ruaphu, I noticed you have an 87 CBR, is there any chance you could have a look at your bike and let me know where the top wire coming out of the cooling fan switch goes? Its a single wire, I am putting my bike back together and can't remember where it goes.
I think it goes to ground but can't find where, and have replaced the switch but still can't get it working properly.

No worries, I've put it in my phone. If I remember I'll get a pic'y too.

I'm get down to good ole wgtn on the bike from time to time to see another mate on his bike. Typically we go out and punish the Rimutaka hill to put a smile on the dial and then do the cafe thing (well ya have to eh. hehe) in the Wairarapa before zipping back over the hill to Wgtn.

Oooh a V-max.....one of the scariest things I ever ridden, it was highly modified like a monster on steriods, amazing machine. Owned by an absolute nutter mate who had the Tim 'the toolman' Taylor out look on life "more power"

Thanks for the reply Andy, couple of random things.

1] Some time when you're going thru Waverley check out the house at No. 110 on the main road [north end of town, huge Norfolk pine in the front yard and a padoock next door] - was our family home for three generations.

2] keep an eye out for kiwi JK - he's my older [60] brother in Wellington, he found my CBR and very kindly restored it for me, once it was going he liked it so much he's now bought another one for himself [crash damaged] to go with his V-Max and his 1100 Gixxer. He has far too much time on his hands.
