$45!!
Rotella T6 is only 20$ at WallyWorld.
I just had to teflon tape the drain plug on the girlfriends cavalier after a fresh oil change started dripping. Frustrating...
Just plug the drain hole with your finger and use the other hand to change out the crush washer so you don't lose any of that precious $45 oil

So wait..is it safe and do you guys not change the oil filter EVERY oil change but rather every other? Bc the OEM filters I use are pricey!
I would think it would be good practice to change them every oil change by the mere fact of what the function of the filter does! You dont want to put fresh oil in your case then start her up only to have the debris in your filter start recirculating into your clean oil! God forbid any metal shavings or the such!

I always change the filter at every oil change. Some people change it at every other. Also I use the Super Tech filters from Wal-Mart in all my cars and bikes and Shell Rotella T synthetic oil in the bikes and Super Tech mineral oil in my '91 Stealth. The oil change will cost you less than $20 all up, so you can do it twice as often and still pay less than you would if you used top end products. I'd rather change my oil and filter more often and use a less well known brand to do so than leave a name brand oil in there for twice as long. This comes down to simple logic.
