Where is the odo number stored on the F4i? Is it stored in the ECU or in the speedo meeter?

 

i was wondering that too
recently my ECU got stolen. I replaced with another ECU and the odometer stayed the same. I think it should be stored on the cluster .

any input?

 

it's stored in the cluster. i bought a wrecked f4i some months back and rebuilt it. the speedo was completely snapped off and in tough shape so i couldn't use it anymore. it read 9500 miles. i bought a different speedo that unfortunately has over 21000 miles on it so im screwed if i ever decide to sell it
