I would get the oem just to save time and money dealing with an aftermarket piece. But i do feel what you are saying if you think you can handle it go for it and let us know what happens.

 

damnit man now you got me thinking!!!!!!!!!!!!! im gonna see if i can talk the guy down a lil on the OEM piece and see if he budges

 

lol yea if you can try to see how big the difference is going to be and if its not that bad bang it out and call it a day...For one nobody is going to be able to tell the difference if its close while you are riding and prob not at night...the only way someone would know is if they are really looking for faults because they are jealous or its really noticable.
