Many of you have seen my latest paint job, my all-flat black 600RR. However, here's my problem. The bodyshop was supposed to sand all the old paint off, smooth, primer, and repaint. Now i've noticed the last month that the paint has been bubbling in places, and a spot has chipped off on the right fairing and what do you know----it's metallic chamelion blue with metal flake underneath!!!! Now either i mysteriously have the coolest plastic ever put on a CBR, or they didn't sand off the old paint at all, which pisses me off. Should i ask to get the whole thing repainted? Should i have to pay? What do you guys think?

I think you should take it back, make sure you have your receipt, and have it completely redone. No, I don't think that you should have to pay for it. You already did, and they did a crappy job. Hope it works out for you and let us know what happens.

 

If you paid for work that was supposed to be done, and they didn't do it, then hell yeah bring it back and have them do it right, and NO you should not have to pay anything.
