Default Hey guys new member with an opinion question

What is up guys, and gals,

I am brand new here, and I have a very weird set of two questions. Firstly, this is my first fuel injected motorcycle ( I have been riding for 5 years total) and I am very proud of the fact that it is an 06 F4i, honestly I probably will never own another bike due to how much I love this machine.

So first question, Here is the bike

I love the playboy style fairings, and recently installed a series of LED's on the under tail, front fairing, engine bay, and swing arm. So it lights up great. However, the yellow man.... the yellow tank it bugs me, but this is the weird question. It bugs me only if other people think it looks awkward. haha, so in your opinion how does it look?

I have a step dad who owns a body shop, and he says they spray black paint all day long, and since I'm his step son he is willing to let me through the tank into his shop and get a quick shot of black (real car paint not rattle can) and I figured I could throw a playboy bunny sticker on the sides and a white tank pad. Opinions?

Secondly, I don't really hear a rattling noise from the bike, except sometimes I feel like I hear a subtle rattle at higher rams (very quite) you really have to listen to hear it. I feel that the bike vibrates a bit at certain rpm's but not like rock out hard. Do you think I should just go ahead and swap the cct? just for good measures? According to the previous owner he has never swapped it and it has 21k miles on the baby.

Ok done with my book, thanks for opinions in advance, and don't worry i don't get offended easily ( ex military ) so lay it on me.

Honestly I think you should black out the gas tank and have some sort of white in it to match the plastics. Your cct is good but you can change it to avoid it going out it's a very simple process and only cost around 50 bucks.

Thanks boss, thats what I was thinking. Yeah Ill probably swap it out just for shizz and gigs. I like being greasy anyway. Hey maybe ill throw the tank into the paint both and while the tank is off go ahead and swap that sucker outta there?

P.S. I was a mechanic in the military.

I would go white on the tank and put some black stickers on it. Better yet, do it so it matches the fairing design.

A: yellow doesn't belong on anything except school buses and girls clothing IMO so yes paint the tank and B: yes replace the CCTL. I'm on my third and it started rattling almost immediately so I'm sure yours needs replacement.

HAHA your bike looks tight man, I like it. However, I got the tank in the shop and is on its way to being painted black. I got me a playboy bunny sticker to put on the top of the tank and a white tank pad. I'm stoked!
