02'-06' are the exact same mechanically. only difference is the seat set-up.in 02' the fuel injection system was slightly improved.

95, I think the point of theOriginal post was to eliminate speculation without a side by side teardown. I think it was a great idea to compare part #'s.

they sometimes have different part numbers for different years...go figure...

Don't forget that it's more likely that the reason that later F4is have different part numbers is because of improvements. For example the CCT went from J20 to J21, which lasts a little longer before rattling. That said, like the CCT example mentioned, it's nothing radical, so don't get your panties all twisted up in a bunch.

well...it would be nice if you had your numbers correct...like j22 to j23...
