I have been riding since I was 14. Now i'm 23. I have owned 1 F2,1 F3, 1 F4i, 1 929, and 3 954, etc. I am not a squid. I NEVER WENT DOWN. Not saying I won't but I have never done a single wheelie ever in my life and I do not ride like a retard, i'm carefull whenever i'm riding in public. When it's cold, i take it real nice and slow and let the tires warm up completely. So i know my limits okay?
Not riding your bike for 7 months, thats 7/12 * $10,000 = $5833 of money that you would waste on a bike.

Side note: I bought my f2 from this guy who wrecked it and rebuilded it myself and now its in almost new condition and it cost me total of no more than $1200 for a bike which is now in immaculate condition

If I unintentialy did offend someone, i'm sorry about it. Sometimes i cant help but express myself lol peace

Oh and one thing I almost forgot to ask? Maybe someone can explain this to me. So Im wearing leather jacket and leather gloves and multiple layers when riding so i am almost never cold; but, as soon as i get off the bike and for instance i start walking and after couple minutes, i start feeling hella cold, dont know whys that? anybody?

I ride my bike when its safe.my decision has nothing to do with me being cold. I put about a 1000 miles every month on my bike. So even if its only 7 months out of the year I ride more than a lit of people.

Adrenaline
Focus on the task at hand reducing sensitivity to other things (kinda like tunnel vision)
Heat coming from the bike itself

****s cold out there why ride when I can be in my nice 80 degree car. Though I did take my bike out on New Years which was nice because it was about 50.

And who only rides 5 months a year? Once the ice is off the road I am back on the bike for sure. I put the bike away in mid to early November, and will ride in the middle of February if the snow is done. So that is what 3 or maybe 4 months I wont ride.

All I am saying is that I NEED TO MORE SOMEWHERE WARM! Screw this -20 wind chill crap.

Depends on how much gear you have/are wearing.

I did 32-36* a month ago for about 1 1/2 hours and that was brutal for me because of my perforated gloves. Had to stop every 30 minutes to put my hands on the exhaust to make my fingers bend again, lol. Otherwise I was wearing boots, boot socks, long johns pants, jeans, waterproof overpants, long john top, leather jacket with liner, baklava, helmet w/ taped vents. Ended up buying $3 gloves at a gas station to go over my perf. ones and that only helped slightly, I'm sure latex would've done better to block the wind.

With some cheapo rain/wind blocking gear over a couple layers, decent gloves, and a baklava or scarf, even a bit below freezing ain't too bad. anything over 40 for 20 miles or less is no big deal with boots, jeans, jacket, gloves, helmet and turtleneck/scarf/baklava (also replaced by tucking in the entire time).

Oh i was bundled up alright. I had 2 pairs of socks, boots. Then I wore my sweatpants, then jeans, then my military pants. I had a t shirt then a long sleeved, then a fleece, a coat then my riding jacket. I also had two mitten hand gloves, then my riding gloves... I was fine but just the right hand fingers started going cold after half an hour or so.

I put mine away for a week this year... when the SE got hammered by snow. We don't have nearly enough equipment to clear the roads like they do up N, so it took quite a bit longer for us to recover from it.

Now, highs are already starting to get closer to the 60's consistantly... Getting excited already! 54 days until the first official day of spring!

Good, logical thinking on your behalf. Are they gonna bury it with you, orr should they just part it outt? You might wanna make sure these things are all cleared up before you ride all year round on a crotch rocket.

Can we get some pictures of the spill that you're gonna take?
