Ha. I just sat down at my work desk shivvering from my .8 mile ride to work in the Arizona 40 degree morning

Rain or shine this guy rides....well...actually, I refuse to ride in the rain...but as long as theres not snow in the ground then I'm riding! Wait....I live in Arizona...whatever you know what I mean

How cold is too cold? When you can't take it anymore. I don't ride below 40 because then the ride just isn't enjoyable to me.

+1. I'm from the Cleveland area, and it gets cold here. Really cold. As in- it's currently about 12*F with a wind chill as well. But, I don't go by temperature, I go by whether or not I can feel my limbs If it is too cold to have a fun ride, she stays on the stands in the garage.

However, be safe while you're riding in the cold. There is salt on the roads (which isn't good for your bike..at all.), and the street is coldcoldcold, which means your tires aren't sticking to much of anything.

For me It depends on my mood. Lol. A few weeks ago it was down in the 20s when I left to go to work. Only reason I did ride was it was suppose to be nice around the time I got off work so it was worth it. Lol. I'm in Florida so the weather is a bit crazy. Freezing one night then mid 60s the next day.

30's. If I had a heated jacket liner I could go lower. Went to payson last week and there was snow. I was fine with a light thermal, heavy thermal and leather jacket. The key is to not have any exsposed skin.

Cold and dry I'll go out for shorter rides, but only to get a fix, hell I'm supposed to be doing this for fun!

If you can't feel your fingers it stops being fun very quickly and besides I like to ride quite hard, which I don't have the ball5 for in cold wet or icy conditions
