Would anyone want to send me the piece that they hacked off? My bike's PO did this modification and I need it back to pass the state inspection ASAP.

M1ke, it would be extremely difficult to secure that cut off piece to what you have back there now. Not that it can't be done but you'd be better off just getting the entire battery tray & dealing w/ less hassle. Nevertheless, I've made comments in both topics you have going. Hope you can get a dif inspector... Get supervisor & try to get what you have approved. W/ your lic plate & lic plate light on there, it should be more than enough.
