Hack that fender off!

Has anyone here ever said the heck with it and shaved off their fender up to the keyhole? Removing the liscense plate light and mounting it right underneath the keyhole and maybe getting some smaller aftermarket directionals.

This past weekend i took a dremel saw to the bottom portion of the fender with the reflector on it but as i look @ it, more needs to come off.

pics of hacked off fenders would be greatly appreciated...and for those of you who have hacked it right up to the keyhole, are you happy with the appearance?

thanks in advance

I spoke with someone today about that. He went with the integrated tail lights, and where that red reflector is, mounted his plate just below that. Then drilled two tiny holes below his brake light so light shows through and hits the plate.

I was thinking about doing that and just cutting the corner of the plate to fit around the key hole. Is it illegal to cut your plate? I cut the bottom section off my front plate for my Del Sol...but then I just took it off the car altogether, so I am not sure if it is illegal.

I am dead broke and would like to know how to do this also..

I'm originally from Osceola, WI but currently going to school in Minnesota

Uniq you could always drill a hole IN the plate to reach the keyhole...

When I had my F4i I just drilled a hole for the keyhole and mounted the plate as high as I could looked very clean .
