that comes standard on all f4i's with the banana seat other than the 01-03 models which have the split seat. "passenger bar behind the rear seat---uneseccary" Some people must like it, honda keeps putting it on there.

Honda keeps putting it on there but it looks ridiculous...the strap down the front of the passenger seat or portion of the seat makes more sense.

Just because Honda keeps putting it on there doesnt mean people like it. They are great bikes, so people buy them...no one is gonna NOT buy a great bike simply because of a passenger bar.

The bar is there because a strap on the seat is not secure enough on the banana seat model. The points where it holds onto the chassis are at the very top and very bottom. The bar is not meant to be used for a passenger, it's meant to aid you in moving the bike around. If people find it that ugly, they can remove it, but most find it handy.

*****....Let the guy have HIS bike the way HE likes it. I prefer the "no passenger bar" look...but its not my bike. Its not like it COMPLETELY changes the way the bike looks. Leave him be...damn.
