Like everyone else has said, this happens to me, too. It really pisses me off

Hey I'm glad I came upon this thread. I was wondering if it was a mechanical problem or my shifting skills I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with this problem.

I also have problem shifting from 2nd to 3rd. I have to play around the shifter a bit before I can switch to 3rd. Is this a known problem on a 2003 CBR600F41?

I'm glad I came across this forum. I used to have the same problem when I got my bike a month ago. But now I shift at higher RPMs and don't seem to have the problem anymore. Trying shifting at higher RPMs.

This seems to work! I'm just shifting a bit too soon. Thanks for the info.

Excellect post, thought it was just me as well. I did notice that it will shift a lot better at the higher RPM's, so you gotta ring it out a little bit to get an optimal shift. I've also changed to Pazzo Levers for my controls, they are more performace driven and will adjust to fit your hand , helping with the efficiency of how you get through the gears.

I heard on the Ninja 500, Kawasaki has a special pateneted system that will give you an easier shift from 1st to 2nd , so coming off that as my first bike, I thought it was just me haveing problems getting stuck in neutral....GREAT POST!
