For an 07 Silver 1000rr. Man, what a bike! A beast compared to the 600. Taking easy trying to get acustomed to the bike and additional power.

Sweet! I too have the 07 in silver. I also came from an F4i and I'm liking it.

Looking to do the same within the year. Any suggestions before I buy? Descibe exactly what the difference is between F4i and 1k? Ive been told when you get on the throttle on the F4i, it just goes fast; when you get on the thethrottle on the 1k, it goes fast, with the front wheel UP. Is that true?

I have been taking it easy on the 1k. I took it up to 10k rpm @ ~3/4 throttle yesterday and the front end did not come up but I am sure it will.

The rr feels slightly bigger than the F4i but handles great. The riding position is more agressive so you lean forward more. The seat is less comfortable and my wife says its rough on back. Meh

Overall, great bike but like I said I am taking baby steps with it.

hey whats up, congrats on having the best bike ever made. I came off of an 03 600rr. i have also rode a couple f4i's. yes on the 600 in first gear at a full throttle takeoff you can power the wheel up. 2nd gear 9times out of 10 requires the clutch to bring it up.. but dont get me wrong it does just go fast like you said before. Once you get used to the 1000 and start full throttle takeoffs i can promise you that the front wheel will be up in first, second, and if the conditions are right, third..the 1000 is a great machine.

Dude nice choice on color, definitely the nicest looking for 07. But I don’t know about you, but I miss **** out of my silver/red 02 F4i, it was fast, handled pretty good, looked sweet, and could hold a sweet shirt in the back. I actually feel bad about letting someone else actually touch it, let alone ride it. But I have to admit, my new blue/yellow 06 1krr sure helps me sleep at night.
