If you can find him, a member here named omninate used a frequency generator to simulate 180 mph on the speed sensor of an F4i gauge.

He did it when he swapped F4i gauges on his F3 to bring the mileage up. He might know something as well.

stock cluster sold... cluster swap is game on... buying 636 cluster tomorrow

 

wow, this is a great project - lots of originality!!! to clarify - i'm a manager for a web development firm, so i'm no expert at this stuff. i just like to tinker like many others out there!

we should start with the wiring diagram: have you located the wiring diagrams for each bike? i can take a stab at giving you an application-specific wiring diagram for you if you've got them both. can you email them to me if you do (nate [at] omninate [dot] com)?

Fuel reserve
