Does anyone know or has anyone here swapped a 01' f4i engine for a larger engine. I know that the 954rr seems pretty close to the same size, but not sure what will work if anything. If it is possible, what else needs to be swapped out...Thanks

 

If you want a bigger motor sell the f4i and buy a 945rr. You can sell the f4i and put the money you would spend on a 954 motor and you have almost enough for a 954rr.

 

Bigger motors mean more power.More torque twists the frame and puts additional stress on parts not designed to handle more power. Brakes may be underpowered also. If you want more power, get more bike. If you want the challange and experiance gained from shoehorning a motor, go for it. Document progress and post it up.
