Default Engine Swap

I want to move up to a bigger bike but don't have the money to invest in another bike right now. I was wondering, would a 1000rr engine fit in the frame of an '05 f4i.

...sorry if this is posted somewhere else but I couldn't find any posts.

Thanks

The general consensus is its much much much much easier and probably cheaper to just sell your f4i and buy a bigger bike. You can get a 929 or 954 for not much more than what youd sell your f4i for depending on its shape. So unless you want a serious winter project just enjoy your bike until you can afford the 1000 or sell yours and pick up a 929/954 over the winter for cheap. Youll be happier in the long run and save yourself 1000 headaches.

I've seen this same question asked of a local motorcycle guru whose specialty was building championship winning racebikes. his exact words "you can swap whatever motor you want, but it'll end up being a POS, a moneypit, and NEVER be as good as an actual upgrade" which basically means, it's much less expensive, and FAR easier to simply buy a 1000RR than to build a 1000F4i bastard child.
