Default dying probl3ms

so i got a 03 F4i a few weeks ago i love the thing... but just recently it started acting up on me

i admit ive been driving it pretty hard and it will get pretty hot but i never hear the elec. fan turn on. temp will read in the 225 - 230 area and this is when the bike starts to act up

it will die in gear at a stop light or if i brake hard while holding the clutch

the oil light flashes so i figured it was low on oil... so i put just a lil bit in and its still acting up.. and im actually just a lil over the fill mark on the glass

so when does everyone elses elec fan come on? and has anyone else had this problem? the bike is still under waranty but i still need to transfer it into my name... any suggestions on what i should do?

I think its 220-5 on my 01 F4i. Def take it to the dealer. I don't think they will ask you for much paper work. Call and ask.

At 230°F, your fan should be on. If you never hear your fan turning on, then that is a problem.

+1, 224 degrees. back in the carbed days that sort of an issue was common because of the fuel in the float bowls, but on an injected bike it's odd.
